Style 1101CR - Concentric Reducing
Product Type:Styles 1101CR and 1201CR concentric reducing rubber expansion joints offer an economical solution by combining a reducing pipe fitting with an expansion joint. Featuring two different flanged diameters with a common centerline, these joints are designed to absorb large all-directional movements, reduce noise and vibration, and have a cycle life in the tens of millions. They compensate for misalignments, provide access to piping and equipment, and relieve pipe and anchor stresses.
The spool-type body features full rubber flanges, a high-grade leak-proof tube, multiple layers of high-strength tire cord, high tensile steel reinforcement, a seamless cover, and hot dip galvanized steel retaining rings. This construction is the most cost-effective solution for rigid piping systems equipped with main anchors (MA) and numerous guides at specific intervals. Control units, which can be attached either externally or internally, serve as limit rods for secondary restraint or as tie rods in cases where the support structure or adjacent equipment has load limitations.
