Style 1101 - Single Wide Arch

Style 1101 single (1) wide arch rubber expansion joints are engineered to accommodate substantial multi-directional movements, mitigate noise and vibration, and boast a cycle life in the tens of millions. These joints also compensate for misalignments, provide access to piping and equipment, and alleviate pipe and anchor stresses.

The spool-type body features full rubber flanges, a high-grade leak-proof tube, multiple layers of high-strength tire cord, high tensile steel reinforcement, a seamless cover, and hot dip galvanized steel retaining rings. This construction is the most cost-effective solution for rigid piping systems equipped with main anchors (MA) and numerous guides at specific intervals. Control units, which can be attached either externally or internally, serve as limit rods for secondary restraint or as tie rods in cases where the support structure or adjacent equipment has load limitations.
