SIGMA^® 588

Sigma® 588 is a high performance biaxially oriented PTFE sheet sealing material, featuring enhanced handling and low stress sealing characteristics.

Sigma® 588 is an advanced material specifically designed for flanges with low bolt loading, making it perfect for a variety of flange types such as glass-lined, ceramic, plastic, or those with distortion resulting in areas of low gasket stress. It effectively seals all chemicals across the pH spectrum (0-14), with the exception of molten alkalis and fluorine gas. Being composed solely of pure PTFE, it is also suitable for use with hydrogen fluoride.
