SIGMA^® 533

Sigma® 533 is a high performance biaxially oriented sheet sealing material containing PTFE with barium sulphate (barytes) filler.

This advanced material is ideally suited for creating effective seals throughout the entire pH range from 0 to 14, except in applications involving molten alkali metals, fluorine gas, and anhydrous HF. Sigma® 533 is particularly effective in situations that demand sealing against a wide range of chemicals, especially in the presence of strong alkalis.
