SIGMA^® 500

Sigma® 500 is a high performance biaxially oriented sheet sealing material containing PTFE and hollow glass microspheres.

This advanced material excels at creating a secure seal over a wide range of gasket stresses, making it ideal for standard metallic flanged connections and even in bolted connections under compromised loads.

Sigma® 500 is renowned for its inherent cleanliness, making it an ideal option for industries where product contamination is a significant concern, such as in the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical sectors. It is adept at sealing a wide spectrum of chemicals throughout the entire pH scale (0-14), with the exception of molten alkali metals, fluorine gas, hydrogen fluoride, and substances that may produce these elements.
