Maxsil Tex Silica Fabrics
Product Type:Maxsil®Tex textiles offer unparalleled temperature performance, setting a new standard in the industry. Unlike leached glass textiles, Maxsil®Tex products are crafted from high-purity silica fibers, ensuring exceptional quality and reliability. With virtually no shrinkage, Maxsil®Tex fibers eliminate the need for fabric pre-shrinkage treatments to maintain dimensional stability, preserving the integrity of the textiles. These fibers elevate temperature resistance beyond that of leached glass textiles while retaining dimensional stability and flexibility even at maximum service temperatures.
Maxsil®Tex silica fabrics are crafted from continuous filament amorphous silica yarns, that undergo air bulking, and are heat-treated with a proprietary abrasion-resistant finish. Renowned for their durability, these fabrics rank among the most resilient high-temperature options available. Maxsil®Tex fabrics are pre-shrunk, exhibiting minimal shrinkage of as little as 2% at service temperature. They have been demonstrated to surpass standard silica fabrics in numerous applications. Notably, this product is distinct from those manufactured from leached fiberglass fabric.
