DURLON® SWG Style DRI
Product Type:DURLON® spiral wound gaskets utilize a unique combination of a preformed engineered metal strip and a more compressible filler material, resulting in an exceptional seal upon compression. The engineered shape of the metal strip ensures a highly resilient seal across diverse conditions by acting as a spring under load. The selection of strip metallurgy and filler material can be customized to suit a wide range of applications.
DURLON® Style DRI is a combination of a sealing element (D), a centering ring (R), and an inner ring (I). This design enhances radial strength and protects the sealing element from erosion and inward buckling. It is commonly used with standard Raised Face, Full Face type flanges, and also serves as a replacement gasket for worn RTJ flanges.
