DURLON® SWG Style D
Product Type:DURLON® spiral wound gaskets utilize a unique combination of a preformed engineered metal strip and a more compressible filler material, resulting in an exceptional seal upon compression. The engineered shape of the metal strip ensures a highly resilient seal across diverse conditions by acting as a spring under load. The selection of strip metallurgy and filler material can be customized to suit a wide range of applications.
DURLON® Style D functions solely as a sealing element, made from a preformed engineered metal and a more compressible filler material. It is commonly used in tongue and groove or male and female flange configurations and is also available with an inner ring and no center ring as Style DI.
