DURLON^® Kammprofile

DURLON^® Kammprofile gaskets feature a sturdy metal core featuring concentric serrated grooves on both the top and bottom surfaces. Although the standard core is made of stainless steel, various metallurgies are available upon request.

Flexible graphite and expanded PTFE are the most commonly used options to cover the serrated core, but other materials can also be employed based on specific service conditions. The soft sealing layers deliver excellent sealing properties, fill minor flange imperfections, and safeguard flange surfaces from potential damage.

These gaskets excel as the top choice for applications requiring improved performance under low seating stresses and they showcase exceptional resistance to blowout, providing superior stability for effortless handling and installation.
